I miss the old app

I like the concept of this app but it really needs improvement. None of my favorites were saves from the last version, when searching for recipes within a certain category will cause the app to close, the ingredients are not in alpha order (something probably in the code preventing correct sort order), the long stories on the recipes are not necessary; just tell me what it does and the benefits. What would really be great is adding the calorie detail. I use this app every morning but its very frustrating.
